Candlelight Yin Relaxation 

Relax deeply in this 75-minute candlelight yin yoga class suitable for all levels. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. The poses are held longer to help restore and relax the body. Yin yoga is known to calm the nervous system and reduce cortisol levels, also known as stress hormones.

You will also learn various meditation techniques each week and enjoy Yoga Nidra at the end of each class. Yoga Nidra refers to the conscious awareness of the deep sleep state. It has been found to reduce tension and anxiety and is equal to 4 hours of sleep.
